Which facilities are included?
As a hotel guest you can make free use of the indoor pool, the sauna, the Jungle club (for the children) and the fitness center. At Saturdays and/or Sundays during our Holiday Inn Family Buffet, a life guard will be present during the opening hours of this buffet. There is also free wireless internet throughout the hotel via IHG Connect; sign up with your IHG Rewards Club account and use a superfast Wi-Fi network at many IHG hotels worldwide.

Can I pay by credit card?
Yes you can pay by credit card. It is also possible to make a payment by debit card. You can also change foreign currency (limited to a selection of currencies).

What time is my room available on the day of arrival and what time do I have to leave my room on the day of departure?
The rooms are available from 3 pm. If you arrive earlier you can leave your luggage in our luggage room. Check-out is possible until 12:00. In case you would like to check-out late, please contact the reception, they can inform you about the possible options and associated costs.

Can I park at the hotel?
Yes, the hotel has ample parking for 400 cars and some buses. There are also charging stations for electric cars.

How many people can stay in a hotel room?
Our Superior rooms are equipped with 2 full size beds of 1.35 x 2.00 meter, suitable for a maximum of 4 guests. Of course we can add for free a baby cot in the room (upon request). It's not possible to add an extra bed in the rooms. However, you can book two rooms with a connecting door, this enables us to guarantee only after paying a small surcharge. Ask at your reservation! Our King rooms and luxurious Executive rooms feature one king-size bed, these rooms are suitable for up to 2 people.

What children facilities do you offer? 
In our Jungle club on the ground floor you will find a ball pit, shuffleboard, playground with slide, lego table, games and game consoles. The indoor swimming pool with Jet stream, effervescent banks and waterfall is a great place for the children! Diameter ± 10x16m, from 0.60 m to 1,40 m deep. The shallow end is separated by a line. There is also a fitness center and we rent bicycles for both young and old.

What are the options for dining at the hotel? 
Our Garden restaurant offers an extended breakfast buffet and also delicious dishes from the à la carte lunch and dinner menu. In the weekends (Saturdays and Sundays) we offer an international buffet, ideal to join with the familly. We also regularly offer special themed buffets and brunch menu's at Sundays. In our Ocean bar we offer delicious (grill) dishes from the menu, a dish of the day and of course your favorite drink or cocktail. Our bartenders will be happy to inform you.

Can I bring my dog to your hotel?
Yes you can! Your pet is welcome. We like to know ahead of time if you have a pet with you, so that we, if possible, can arrange a room on the ground floor on the outside. We offer a small area outsie to let out your dog (cleanup duty!) and would like to inform you that dogs are not allowed to stay alone in the room for long periods of time. Your pet should, if kept on a leash, be taken into the hotel, however dogs are not welcome in the Garden restaurant, on the patio, in the Ocean bar, the swimming pool, the sauna, the fitness center and the Jungle club. The additional costs for the stay of your pet is € 19.00 per night per pet. Exception to this are officially registered assistance dogs. 

Can I have a preference for a room type or location?
It is possible to indicate a preference for your room, in terms of type or location. By means of an additional payment is your room type final and we can offer you the room of your choice. Please request when booking.

What is your cancellation policy? 
Cancellation free of charge (for individual room reservations) is usually possible until 16:00 hrs. 1 day prior to arrival, unless contractually agreed otherwise. The cancellation period may vary depending on the package/rate and/or date. The cancellation policies are confirmed to you in writing.

How can I make a group request? 
Group requests from 10 rooms are best to pass by mail or by phone at +31 71 53 55 555. Please keep the desired date, number of nights and the number of guest at hand.

How far away is the Holiday Inn from the centre of Leiden?
Our hotel is 2 km from the historic centre of Leiden and the Leiden Central Station. Guests of Holiday Inn Leiden can make free use of our shuttle bus which will take you to/from the Holiday Inn Leiden to/from Leiden Central Station on weekdays in the morning and evening rush hours (not during holiday periods and public holidays). Please check the schedule on this website.

Is there public transport near the hotel?
On 100-250 metres from the hotel you will find several bus stops with transportation to the Hague, Leiden Central Station and the city centre. The Transferium is also within walking distance, also it has an fast bus connection between Leiden and the Hague.
