Why is my reservation canceled?

Due to the major impact of the corona crisis and the tightened measures that are in force for our industry, we have had to decide in the short term to no longer offer hotel nights for hotel guests from Friday 9 October 2020. The hotel will remain open for meeting guests.

What are the costs now that my reservation is canceled?

We cancel your reservation completely free of charge as a result of this decision.

I had already paid for my reservation, will I get my money back?

Of course we will refund your money, this will be refunded via the same procedure how we have received your payment. Depending on the bank / credit card company and the administrative processing, this can take up to 10-15 (working) days.

Can I change my reservation?

Due to the closure of the hotel rooms for our guests, we unfortunately cannot change your reservation to another date. Your reservation will be cancelled definitively.

Can I convert my reservation for another hotel within the same hotel chain?

Unfortunately, it is not possible to transfer your reservation to another hotel within the InterContinental Hotels Group. Each hotel has it's own different conditions and rates. 

I have an IHG membership, will it be maintained?

Yes your membership will remain and you can make new reservations at the affiliate hotel through IHG.com or the IHG app

Will I receive another cancellation confirmation?

You will not receive an additional cancellation confirmation. The email we have sent you stating your cancellation is sufficient.

Will Holiday Inn Leiden reopen in the future?

Given the current circumstances, we will no longer receive hotel guests for the time being. The options for our meeting guests remain unchanged; meetings may still take place. Our meeting rooms will continue as part of our adjacent Event & Convention Center (ECC Leiden). Reservations and more information are to be found through the website eccleiden.com.
